TYPE TWO: The Giver
believes you must give fully to others to be loved. Consequently, Givers are caring, helpful, supportive and relationship-oriented, but also can be prideful, overly intrusive and demanding. Twos see the world as full of needs. As children, they were appreciated for being helpful or performing useful tasks and they carry this into adulthood. They are extremely intuitive and find that they have a talent for knowing when someone is in trouble or needs help or a listening ear. The Twos get burnt out looking after other people's needs and sometimes end up wondering why people don't look after them in return. At their best, they are 'people' people. They like to create good feelings in others thus maintaining others acceptance and approval. It is important for them to learn not to expect others to look after them, but to take care of themselves and discover their own needs.
